Cynthia Bennett Brown is lecturer in systematic theology at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) and Belfast Bible College, where she has taught since 2011. Her PhD (QUB) focussed on the theological methodology of Emil Brunner. Cindy’s research interests include modern theology, the relationship between doctrine and the life of the church, and religious studies broadly speaking through the QUB Religious Studies Research Forum. Teaching and supervision are complemented by being an elder in the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, a member of the Society for the Study of Theology (UK), and as a board member for Southern Theological Seminaries (Argentina). Though originally from Massachusetts, Cindy moved to the UK in 2005 after a decade living in Canada and France.
